# ARRIVAL - HELSINKI TOUR — OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO ROVANIEMI (L)   Arrive at Helsinki. Start half day city tour where we will see the best of the beautiful city. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with several photo stops with magnificent views. Discover Senate Square, Cathedral, Sibelius Monument, Rock Church, Art Nouveau districts by the seafront and many more. Enjoy free time for shopping at the market and boutiques on the Esplanade Avenue. Take overnight sleeper train 1C265 to Rovaniemi ETD @ 7.29 pm.

ETA @ 7.20 am Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland and the ‘Official’ Hometown of Santa Claus and viewing of the Northern Light. Continue visit the Santa Claus Village. During tour you will visit nice souvenir stores, main post office of Santa Claus and will cross the Arctic Circle officially! You will meet Santa Claus. There will also be an opportunity to send postcards home bearing the famous Area Circle postmark: Enjoy 30 minutes Reindeer Ride - travel back in time with a reindeer sleigh ride, a traditional me method of transportation! With the reindeers’ steady pace, you can get the most out of the pristine scenery. For photograph enthusiasts, there are many ideal photo opportunities along the ride and while on the reindeer farm. Begin the trip by encountering living history on the reindeer farm. Reindeer herding is among the oldest professions held by the native people of Lapland and much of their way of life perseveres today. The best way to meet the locals in Lapland is to meet a reindeer - they outnumber the humans! Reindeer have been the staple animalhin Lapland.for thousands of years, a primary means of transportation, milk, and meat. Reindeer herding began with the nomadic indigenous people of Lapland, the Sami, who lived in rei Re henna communities. Our guests have the chance to meet the reindeer farmers themselves who can regale us with stories of their life and livelihood together with nature. Kids (and grown-ups) will enjoy the chance to feed the reindeer some tasty lichen, their favourite treat. Indoors you can enjoy something hot to drink and Finnish pulla (buns). After meeting and greeting the reindeer, we'll embark on a pleasant sleigh ride through the amazing landscape. We go off the beaten track at a steady pace making the ride suitable and comfortable for all. Transfer to hotel to in Rovaniemi for check in. 7.45 pm: Searching Aurora Borealis — An excursion to a prime Northern Lights viewing spot followed by a slice of local history. This safari will take you chasing Aurora Borealis by coach! We will lead you to: the:best possible spots to observe this magical phenomenon of the arctic sky.With a little luck, if the sky is clear, the moon, the stars, and even the Northern Lights will show up! On the way, you will hear Pane ehe stories about life in Lapland and the Northern ights. The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are possible to be observed in the polar zone of the world. Our location on the Arctic Circle gives us the best possibilities to see them. NOTE:The northern lights are a natural phenomenon hence, they cannot be guaranteed nor surely forecast. Return to hotel to overnight.

OPTIONAL SNOWMOBILE SAFARI - Join this exciting adventure in Rovaniemi for a snowmobile action. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for an adventure exploring the beautiful nature of Lapland. You will meet your qualified guide. After a short briefing, we will take you to the snowmobile base in the forest. Once participants have had a short briefing on how to drive snowmobiles and have been provided with the necessary safety instruction, they will hit the gas and make the journey into the forests and lakes of the Arctic Circle. Get ready for speed as you travel through nature! Free at own leisure till Husky Safari. Lunch at your own in the city centre. 4.00 pm: Enjoy breathtaking husky safari. Warm thermal clothing will be provided, and the dogs are a happy, friendly team who like nothing better than showing visitors. Enjoy your speedy sledge adventure! After the ride, get to learn about the life of a husky dog in Finnish Lapland. 5.30 pm: Aurora Hunting at the Artic Snow Hotel with dinner. Late afternoon, continue to one of Finnish most famous Ice Hotel. The Arctic Snow Hotel and see hotel rooms, ice bar, ice restaurant and ice sauna. Here everything — even tables and glasses are made from snow and ice! This is something worth seeing! Arctic Snow Hotel offers an excellent opportunity to view spectacular Northern Lights. The venue itself is a winter wonderland entirety, a lifetime experience destination, set in the heart of the beautiful and tranquil Lappish nature. You-will see the construction, operation, and special features of the Snow Hotel. The dinner of the evening is served in.a magical atmosphere by an open fire at Lappish Kota restaurant. In the evening, it is also possible to walk around the hotel area on your own and warm up at Sky bar. The bar has also a second floor with a glass roof where you can hopefully see the northern lights as well while being inside. Return to hotel to overnight.

Breakfast and check out from hotel. Continue our Lapland adventure up to the north which is known for its unspoiled natural beauty and its rich and unique culture. Continue to Levi, a popular ski resort town in Finland. Enjoy leisure time until time for lunch. Today special menu King Crab Soup. Afterwards, drive to Inari, we will stop to take photos at the rugged Lake Inari, which was believed to be the home of Ukko the Overgod by the ancient Laplanders. Here you can immerse yourself in Sami culture and the diversity of Lapland’s natural beauty. Upon arrival Inari, which is the cultural capital of the north with an unequalled atmosphere and history. You'll step into the culture of traditional Finnish Lapland and the indigenous Sami people.Visit the National Museum of the Finnish Sami (SIIDA Museum). Depart to hotel in Saariselka to overnight. Saariselka is northern popular destination for witness the Northern Lights in Finish Lapland. It is known for its clear skies and natural surroundings, making it the perfect place to experience this phenomenon. Upon arrival, enjoy free & leisure on your own. Hopefully we will get to see the lighting in Saariselka.

Breakfast and check out. Continue northwest and later crossing the border to Finnmark County, Norway's northernmost county bordering Finland and Russia. Short stop at Karasjok, the Sami capital for Norway, with have strong ties to the Sami culture, a home of the Sami Parliament and Sami Library. Enjoy local authentic lunch. Continue driving to Alta with a beautiful view of the Alta fjord. Like many other in the region, it’s a great location to view the Northern Lights. Upon arrival, direct check in hotel. In the evening, enjoy free time at the city centre / hunting aurora and visiting the Cathedral of The Northern Lights Alta which is the primary Parish church for Alta.

In the morning, after breakfast you will enjoy full day in Alta, the largest town in Norway’s northernmost county and lies in the inner reaches of the Alta Fjord. First, you will visit Northern Lights Cathedral. Located in the central part of town, this modern concrete and titanium steel structure, circa 2013, serves as the main parish church for Alta. Step inside the circular design and see why this Northern Lights inspired church is worth a look with its oak furnishings, LED strip lights, and great acoustics showcasing the impressive organ and two church bells. Continue to World Heritage Rock Art Centre & Alta Museum (exclude entrance).With a scenic vantage point overlooking the Alta Fjord, this museum features an open-air rock carving exhibit, historic exhibits, and a café with fjord views for lunch. You can walk on pathways arranged around the rock carving area and explore the 2000 to 6200 years old rock carvings that show the life of hunters and fishermen. Later, you will explore the beautiful scenery around Alta, Norway. Stop at Frozen Waterfalls in Kafjord, Alta (photo stop). In the afternoon, you'll have free time to spend in city center Alta to shopping some souvenir to bring home. Overnight in Alta.Another opportunity to observe Aurora tonight.

Breakfast at hotel. Continue drive along the Arctic fjords bound for Tromsg, former starting point of many North Pole expeditions. Located within the arctic circle, Tromso is one of top Aurora Borealis destinations in the Northern Hemisphere. Check in hotel in city centre. In the evening with coach, you will enjoy chasing the Aurora Borealis. Our coach captain will lead you to the best possible spots to observe the phenomena of the Arctic sky. With some luck and clear skies, the moon, the stars, and even the Northern Lights will show themselves. Location of the search is chosen in advance according to the weather, sighting & forecast. NOTE (THE NORTHERN LIGHTS ARE A NATURAL PHENOMENON HENCE THEY CANNOT BE GUARANTEED NOR SURELY FORECAST.)

Today, enjoy a full day tour at the most populated city in Northern Norway.The first stop of our visit Polar Museum (Museo de la Universidad Artica de Noruega), university museum with scientific, cultural & archaeological exhibits related to the Tromso area. Cross the Tromso bridge and head for the Arctic Cathedral, which we will view from the outside. This splendid cathedral has an ultra-modern architectural style and a shape that recalls a Sami tent, or indeed the tip of an iceberg. Continue to the City Centre ‘Old Town’ where the largest collection of historical wooden houses lies. In fact, Tromso contains the highest number of old wooden houses in Northern Norway and the oldest house dating from 1789. Our tour ends with a marvelous Panoramic Cable Car Ride (subject to availability) to view the city, the surrounding fjords and mountains from above. Return to hotel to overnight. Free at leisure to stroll along Tromso shopping street. Overnight in Tromso

Breakfast at the hotel. Then transfer to the Airport Tromso for flight to Oslo. Arrival in Oslo.
