From the airport, we will head to the biggest township in South Africa, Soweto. First, we will be passing by the Hector Pieterson Memorial before making a stop outside of the FNB Stadium, venue of the 2010 World Cup Final. View the colourful frescoes of the Twin Orlando Towers before reaching the only street in the world that was home to 2 Nobel Prize winners, Vilakazi Street. We will visit the house where Nelson Mandela used to live,a few metres away from the residence of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
This morning, after breakfast, board a flight to Kasane, gateway to the Chobe National Park. Upon arrival, transfer to our resort. Chobe River Game Cruise Board your catamaran for a sublime cruise on the Chobe River. See the herds of elephant taking bath by the bank or even witness them swimming across the river with some luck. The hippos are also a major attraction besides a host of wildlife. Enjoy the sunset over the massive plain before the boat returns to the resort.
Chobe National Park Morning Game Drive Hop on a Super dpe and go looking for your favourite Big 5 animals in this highly rated game park in Africa. Apart from having the highest concentration of elephants in the world, you regularly see herds of wildebeest, buffalos, kudus, impalas, giraffe etc. Predators like lions and leopard are a bit more elusive but still commonly sighted here. After the game drive, enjoy breakfast before crossing the Zimbabwean border to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, check into your resort for lunch. Proceed to Victoria Falls Guided Tour. Come face to face with “Mosi-Oa-Tunya” or “The Smoke that Thunders”. Entrance into the rainforest park, we will enjoy this magnificent spectacle of curtain falls from various look out points to view the Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Rainbow Falls (when accessible) and come away spellbound by one of the greatest waterfalls on earth. Wrap up a fascinating ae enjoying a Traditional Boma dinner at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. (Subject to weather permitted.)
Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve Game Drive. Enjoy our last game drive at this marvellous private game reserve. The reserve is well stocked with a wide variety of game with regular sightings of buffalo, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, sable and many more. Birdlife is prolific. Helicopter “Flight of Angel” Enjoy a thrill of your life on board a helicopter (I5min ride, subject to weather conditions) over the magnificent Natural Wonder of the World, Victoria Falls. Be blown away by the sheer magnitude of this Falls from the most vantage points imaginable. The Zambezi Explorer Sunset Cruise (Signature Deck) Embark on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. You will be ushered to the top deck - Signature Deck with great views, 5 Star Comfort and unlimited beverages.
Victoria Falls Free at Leisure. Before leaving Victoria Falls, enjoy some leisure time at the resort or town centre. Board your flight to Cape Town after.
Cape Town City Tour. Tour of this beautiful city covers Signal Hill for up close alleviated view of the city, the colourful dwellings of Bo-Kaap Malay Quarter, the Grand Parade, City Hall & the Castle of Good Hope. If the cable car station is open (subject to wind conditions), we will take a cable car ride up to the summit of Table Mountain for spectacular views of the City, its Waterfront, Camps Bay, the majestic mountains and possible all the way to Cape Point. Cape Wheel is a giant observation wheel that offers a spectacular panoramic view of Cape Town. The Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront in Cape Town has Race views of the Table Bay Harbour and Table ountain. Spend some time browsing the 450 retail outlets, selling everything from fashion, home - ware and curios, to jewellery, leather goods and audio - visual equipment. Tonight, enjoy an authentic African dinner experience with unique interactive traditional entertainment. NOTE: Table Mountain Cableway will be tentatively shut down for annual maintenance from [5th Jul — Ist Sep 2024. During this period, enjoy a ride of Cape Wheel as a replacement (subject to weather permit or else a full refund of Table Mountain Cableway will be provided).
Today, we drive south all the way towards the Cape Point, eer eee Hout Bay, scenic Chapman’s Peak, oordhoek Beach, the Cape Point Nature Reserve and stop at the Se of Good Hope, the most south-western point of the African continent. A short drive will bring us to the base of Cape Point. From here, we take the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse for some outstanding sweeping views of the Cape Peninsula rocky tip and the vast ocean beyond. Heading back to Cape Town, we stop at Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, home to over 2000 endangered African Penguins. Take a boat ride to Seal Island (abicgs to sea conditions) where thousands of Cape Fur Seals can be seen in their natural habitat. The boat trip provides beautiful views of the bay, the harbour, The Sentinel and Chapman’s Peak. Tonight, wrap up this phenomenal Southern African discovery with a Fine-Dining Farewell Dinner at a swanky downtown restaurant in Cape Town.
After breakfast, Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for flight home.
